Chronology

Miami, 1991

When his bloodthirsty urges can no longer be ignored, young Dexter Morgan must learn to channel his inner darkness as he goes from student to vengeful serial killer under the guidance of his father, Harry. Christian Slater is older than James Remar when Dexter first aired (2006).

It is a sequel to Dexter: Resurrection (2025)

I have to start this review by saying how much I loved Dexter. I loved it so much that I watched the whole thing multiple times and never got bored.

Both series had terrible endings, especially Dexter: New Blood

Then came Dexter: New Blood in 2021, and while it wasn’t as good as the original, I still enjoyed it. Now comes Dexter: Original Sin with a young Dexter Morgan’s origin story and how he became everyone’s favorite serial killer.

All 3 are fun to watch

It also brings back younger versions of most of the original characters. I don’t know how they keep doing this, but none of the Dexter series disappoint.
